A Full site MPLS solution has been provided to intellectual property law company UDL by alternative network provider Metronet (UK).

Urquhart, Dykes & Lord (UDL), are one of the UK’s leading firms of patent and trademark attorneys, specialising in all aspects of intellectual property law. The firm was founded over 100 years ago and they now have offices based across the UK.

Metronet (UK) have provided UDL with a fully managed MPLS solution across their five UK sites, including their head office located in Leeds. This fully managed solution, using both wireless and fibre connectivity, includes Metronet (UK)’s firewall solution, SIP trunks and number porting across all of UDL’s offices.

Metronet (UK)’s MPLS service provides a secure, resilient platform for sharing applications and information between UDL’s multiple sites. This is then monitored and managed by the ISPs industry-leading team of MPLS specialists.

Andrew Hastings, IT Manager at UDL said, “Metronet (UK) have been great, they implemented the network seamlessly and any teething issues have been dealt with quickly and with a minimum of fuss. The VoIP team are very professional and they got everything implemented as soon as we needed. I cannot fault Metronet (UK), we are very impressed with the work they have done and the support they continue to provide.”

David Segger, Business Development Manager at Metronet (UK) said, “We are really pleased that UDL chose us as their connectivity partner. We have been working in Leeds for over six years now and as a result of this we have been able to support more and more of the city’s businesses. Our MPLS solution means that companies with multiple offices such as UDL can have all offices on one network with industry leading support. I am happy that we have built a working relationship with UDL and look forward to a strong future together.”
