The Megabuyte50 awards are part of the Megabuyte100 award series which collectively celebrates the 100 best performing technology companies in the UK. The Megabuyte50 awards recognise the 50 best-performing, privately-owned technology companies within the Megabuyte100 winning company universe. Companies’ performance is determined by their Megabuyte Scorecard rating – a proprietary, and wholly independent, benchmarking methodology that assesses companies’ performance against seven key financial KPIs. The rigour of the Megabuyte Scorecard methodology, combined with a specific focus on technology companies, have made Megabuyte’s award series the most influential and authoritative awards in the UK technology sector.
With over 15 years’ experience of wireless and dedicated leased line connectivity, hosting, cloud, security and voice products, M247 has experienced exponential growth the last five years, this pace continues year on year through a focus on product development, customer service and insight.
The merger of Metronet UK, M247 and Venus Communications in 2017 has allowed M247 to grow rapidly internationally and expand their product portfolio. This successful integration of cultures, systems and processes has allowed M247 to go from strength to strength, supported by a growth in financials with revenue increases year on year. In 2019 M247 were listed 57th on the Sunday Times BDO Profit-Track 2019 league table of Britain’s top 100 private companies with fastest-growing profits over three years as well as being named in the Top 50 fastest growing companies in Greater Manchester by Business Desk and Experian.
