The inaugural MEN Tech Awards was held this month and championed key players, entrepreneurial leaders and business founders in Greater Manchester’s thriving tech community.
Nominated alongside other growing technology companies, M247 won ‘Best Global Reach’ in recognition of their ambitious and dynamic expansion beyond the UK and into new markets.
Following a number of acquisitions, M247 has grown from a northern wireless connectivity provider into an international connectivity and hosting organization. Today they operate in 37 of the world’s most important internet exchanges and within 60+ strategic data centers including the leading finance capitals, such as London, Singapore, Zurich, Frankfurt, New York and Tokyo.
Andy Tatlock, Sales Director, who collected the award on the evening, commented “This is the reward for all the hard work by our team to increase our services both here in the UK and internationally. We now serve 110 countries and growing. Our cloud offering also continues to expand and we look forward to seeing this continue into 2020 and beyond.”
